### Purpose

The VADTel-AIIoTU8 unit is intended for remote telemetry from utility meters including gas volume correctors, heat calculators, and water meters. It transmits data to a centralized server for collection, analysis, and long-term storage using GSM/GPRS networks operating at 900/1800 MHz frequencies. Includes integrated Ex ib IS barrier RS-485 interface for intrinsically safe connections (optional for EX version).

## Installation & Operation

### Installation

- Installation must be performed by certified specialists.
- Normally, no configuration of the module is necessary.
- Installation requirements:
  - Protect from direct sunlight.
  - Minimum distance from metal structures: 3 cm.

### Maintenance

- Annual inspection:
  - Check for housing and seal integrity.
  - Clean with a dry, soft cloth.
