**Schedules** control when metering units exchange data with the server. The platform works with reusable **schedule profiles** that you assign across your organization's structure, plus per-unit **custom rules** where a unit needs its own timing.

## Schedules overview

The summary cards show the current setup at a glance:

- **Active profiles** — reusable schedule templates.
- **Custom rules** — per-unit schedules used instead of a profile (local mode).
- **Structure assignments** — profiles assigned to suppliers, branches, or subdivisions.
- **Coverage** — how many metering units are covered by profiles.

Below the cards, three tabs organize the work:

- **Profiles** — create and manage reusable schedule templates assigned to companies, branches, and subdivisions. A single unit can receive several profiles through the hierarchy.
- **Custom** — define a schedule for an individual unit.
- **Assignments** — review and manage which profiles apply where.
