General Information

Purpose

The VADTel-IIoTU3 unit is intended for remote telemetry from utility meters including gas volume correctors, heat calculators, and water meters. It transmits data to a centralized server for collection, analysis, and long-term storage using GSM/GPRS networks operating at 900/1800 MHz frequencies. Includes integrated Ex ib IS barrier RS-485 interface for intrinsically safe connections (optional for EX version).

Installation & Operation

Installation

  • Installation must be performed by certified specialists.
  • Normally, no configuration of the module is necessary.
  • Installation requirements:
    • Protect from direct sunlight.
    • Minimum distance from metal structures: 3 cm.

Maintenance

  • Annual inspection:
    • Check for housing and seal integrity.
    • Clean with a dry, soft cloth.
