- AMI Advanced Metering Infrastructure Domain & Metering
- Two-way metering system enabling remote reads plus commands, alarms and near-real-time data — the evolution of AMR. Related: AMR
- AMR Automatic Meter Reading Domain & Metering
- One-way remote collection of meter readings, removing the need for manual on-site reads. Related: AMI
- ATEX Standards & Certifications

- CE Conformité Européenne Standards & Certifications
- Marking that declares a product's conformity with applicable EU health, safety and environmental requirements, allowing sale within the European Economic Area.

- DMA District Metered Area Domain & Metering
- A discrete, hydraulically bounded zone of a water network whose inflow is metered to localize leaks and quantify losses. Related: NRW
- DN Nominal Diameter (Diamètre Nominal) Domain & Metering
- Standard size designation for pipes and fittings (e.g. DN 15, DN 25), used to specify the form factor of water meters. Related: VADTel-WM-15
- Drinking Water Directive Regulations

- IIoT Platform Products
- The V.A.D. cloud platform that ingests, stores and visualizes telemetry from field devices, exposing dashboards, alerts and northbound APIs for utilities and operators.
- IoT Internet of Things Core Concepts
- Network of physical devices that collect and exchange data over the internet; IIoT is its industrial specialization. Related: IIoT
- IP68 Standards & Certifications
- Ingress-protection rating denoting full dust-tightness and protection against continuous immersion in water; specified for devices installed in pits and submerged enclosures.
- ISO/IEC 27001 Standards & Certifications

- LoRaWAN Protocols & Connectivity
- Long-range, low-power wireless protocol on unlicensed spectrum, used where cellular coverage is weak or a private network is preferred.
- LTE-M Long Term Evolution for Machines Protocols & Connectivity
- Low-power cellular standard offering higher throughput and mobility than NB-IoT, suitable for devices that need more bandwidth or over-the-air firmware updates. Related: NB-IoT

- MID Measuring Instruments Directive Standards & Certifications

- Modbus TCP Protocols & Connectivity

- RTU Remote Terminal Unit Domain & Metering
